Huawei’s World…Following the 5G, Takes Over NH Bank (농협은행) Network

Huawei to supply equipment to local NH Bank (농협은행) networks across the country;   Expanding its territorial coverage after the LGU+ 5G Network;  The ending of (Huawei’s) security controversy is a problem[Asia Economy Hwang Jun-ho reporter] Chinese telecom equipment company Huawei’s domestic (South Korean) territory is gradually expanding.  After it successfully supplied 5G base station equipment, it supplies transmission equipment to the private network connecting 6,200 Nonghyup (NH Bank) branches nationwide.   Huawei is the world’s No. 1 telecom equipment company, and it is assessed that its performance is good relative to the price, but governments around the world have “security” concerns related to [Huawei].

According to the telecommunication industry, the NH Bank selected KT as the priority bidder to participate in nation-wide local network connection project.  (truncated) Over the next five years, 120 billion won ($107.4 million) will be invested.

KT has also received orders from the NH Bank-related businesses in 2013. At that time, KT and Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia) partnered to build networks.  However, KT is partnering with Huawei this time.  Huawei has decided to build NH Bank’s network with [Huawei’s] transmission equipment. (truncated)
