PFJK Statement: China, Stop Conducting Unrestricted Warfare in the Republic of Korea

Concerned with China’s “unrestricted warfare,” a new organization, Professors for Freedom and Justice in Korea (PFJK) [different from Professors’ Solidarity for Freedom and Justice (PFJ)] will hold a rally daily from January 2 to January 31, 2025 (except weekends and holidays) in front of the Chinese Embassy. They will call for China to stop interfering in South Korea’s political and economic affairs and cease its cultural warfare.

China, Immediately Stop Interfering in the Politics of the Republic of Korea!

After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the 1999 book “Unrestricted Warfare” (超限戰) written by Qiao Liang (喬良) and Wang Xiangshui (王湘穗), the CCP has waged an unlimited war using both military and non-military methods for the last 25 years in Western countries. Following the principles of Unrestricted Warfare of not distinguishing “battlefield from non-battlefield, war from non-war, military from non-military,” the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has attacked Western countries in the domains of political, economic, diplomatic, social, cultural, educational, media, finance, espionage, information, illegal drugs, terrorism, smuggling, and all kinds of psychological warfare under the guise of “people-to-people diplomacy.”

The Republic of Korea was no exception [as a target for CCP].

The Democratic Party of Korea’s (DPK) Institute for Democracy signed a policy agreement in 2019 with the Central Party School, which trains cadres of the Chinese Communist Party. In 2017, Chairman Hong Seok-hyun (홍석현) [Chairman of JTBC and former Korean Ambassador to the U.S. Feb-Sept 2005] created a think tank called Yeo Shi Jae (與時齋) to train pro-China politicians from both the ruling and opposition parties. It’s an open secret that “Yeo Shi Jae,” which means “with the times,” is a phrase that President Xi Jinping liked to use.

In 2017, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) conducted Unrestricted Warfare by boldly setting up a Chinese government “secret police station” in the middle of Seoul under the guise of a restaurant called “Dongbang MyungJu“ (Oriental Pearl) (東方明珠). In 2022, South Korea’s intelligence agencies concluded that Dongbang MyungJu was an outpost of China’s influence against South Korea. As of 2023, 22 universities and 16 middle and high schools have been infiltrated by the Chinese Communist Party’s “Confucius Institutes” (孔子學院), to train pro-Chinese intellectuals.

In 2024, The Chinese student in Korea who illegally photographed a U.S. aircraft carrier in Busan in 2024 was an “outstanding Communist Party member.” A Chinese man, upon entering South Korea, went directly to the National Intelligence Service (NIS) and took illegal photographs. This blatancy is a proof that the Chinese Communist Party is looking down on the Republic of Korea. In 2024, an aide to the European Parliament member recruited by Chinese intelligence agencies was arrested for spying in Germany and the UK. Then, are there no Chinese spies in the Republic of Korea?

For seven years, an agent of the Korea Defense Intelligence Command, who was recruited by Chinese intelligence officials through intimidation and appeasements, leaked military secrets, including a list of our secret agents who have been operating abroad, for money to China. He was caught in 2024.

In 2024, the UK Parliament’s Joint Committee on National Security Strategy (JCNSS) said: “In recent years, the UK has been subjected to attempts by countries such as Russia, Iran and North Korea to intervene,” and warned of China’s intervention in the UK general election. In Canada’s general elections in 2019 and 2021, it was discovered that the Chinese government intervened and supported at least 11 pro-China Liberal Party candidates. Then can one say with certainty that the Chinese Communist Party does not interfere in elections in South Korea? The Chinese Ambassador needs to answer__

We know that the Chinese Communist Party’s Wu Mao [“50 Cent Army”] online troll army has been working day and night conducting Unrestricted Warfare in South Korea’s cyberspace. On October 1, 2023 at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, South Korea and China were competing at the soccer match round 8. In the Korean portal site “DAUM” In the “Click Cheering Match,” the Chinese team received 19.83 million clicks (91%), and the Korean team received 2.08 million (9%). If you’re going to do it, at least do it in moderation or not so blatantly. Isn’t it making a mockery of the citizens of the Republic of Korea to do it so drastically?

On December 25, 2024, in front of the presidential residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, two Chinese women assaulted a South Korean grandmother. [The grandmother was there to show support for the president and oppose the impeachment.] How long will the Chinese Communist Party continue to do such dirty deeds? Isn’t it embarrassing?

So far, we have substantial amounts of circumstantial evidence that raise suspicions that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has deeply intervened in the presidential and general elections of the Republic of Korea and distorted the electoral process and manipulated the results.

President Yoon Suk-yeol declared martial law on December 3 to expose such election malpractice. Soon, the crimes committed in the dark will be exposed to the whole world. Don’t think that the Republic of Korea will bow down like Li Chai-ming [pro-China Lee Jae-myung’s Chinese character name read in Chinese pronunciation] did, saying, “xie, xie” (謝謝, 謝謝) [thank you, thank you] [to China].

China is a “thousand-year enemy” to us. We definitely have not forgotten the atrocities committed by the Chinese People’s Army during the Korean War.

To the insane 102 lawmakers who joined the “Korea-China Parliamentary Federation” (71 from the Democratic Party of Korea, 26 from the People Power Party, 3 from the Cho Kuk/Rebuilding Korea Party): Get your naturalized Chinese citizen cards, return to China, and leave the Republic of Korea!

Don’t dream in vain that the Republic of Korea will dismantle the Republic of Korea-US-Japan trilateral cooperation structure and join the North Korea-China-Russia trilateral alliance structure. Together with the US, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, India, and others, we will safeguard the peace and prosperity of the region with overwhelming military power until China succumbs.

Finally, this is a stern warning regarding the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its parasitic pro-Chinese anti-state forces in this land:

1. China, immediately stop its impure political interference in South Korea, including fraudulent elections.

2. China, immediately stop manipulating public opinion by mobilizing the online troll army

3. The pro-China political party–the Democratic Party of Korea, immediately stop acts of rebellion against the state, including the impeachment of the president.

4. The pro-China factions in the legislative and judicial branches, deeply reflect and self-refrain.

중국은 대한민국에 대한 정치개입을 즉각 중단하라!

중국공산당(CCP)은 1999년 『초한전』(超限戰, Unrestricted Warfare, 喬良(치아오량)과 王湘穗(왕샹수이) 저술) 매뉴얼을 작성한 뒤, 지난 25년 간 서방 국가들을 상대로 군사, 비군사 방식을 총동원한 무제한 전쟁을 벌여왔다. 중국공산당은 초한전 지침에 따라“전장과 비전장, 전쟁과 비전쟁, 군사 분야와 비군사 분야를 가리지 않고” 모든 분야를 전쟁터로 삼아, 정치, 경제, 외교, 사회, 문화, 교육, 언론, 금융, 첩보, 정보, 마약, 테러, 밀수 등 민간 외교를 가장한 각종 심리전까지 닥치는 대로 서방 국가를 공격해왔다.

대한민국도 예외는 아니었다.

더불어민주당의 민주연구원은 2019년 중국공산당 간부를 양성하는 중앙당교와 정책협약을 체결하였고, 중앙일보의 홍석현 회장은 2017년 여시재(與時齋)라는 싱크 탱크를 만들어 여야를 막론하고 친중 정치인들을 양성했다. ‘시대와 함께 한다’는 뜻의‘여시재’는 시진핑 주석이 즐겨 쓰던 구절이란 건 공공연한 비밀이다.

2017년 중국공산당은 대담하게도 서울 한복판에 “동방명주”(東方明珠)라는 식당을 가장한 중국 정부의 ‘비밀경찰서’를 만들어 놓고 초한전을 벌였다. 2022년 우리 정보당국은 동방명주가 중국의 대한(對韓) 영향력 공작 전초기지였다고 결론 내렸다. 2023년 기준 22개대학, 16개 중고교에 중국공산당의 조직인 “공자학원”(孔子學院)이 침투하여, 친중 지식인을 양성하고 있다.

2024년 부산에서 미국 항공모함을 불법 촬영한 중국인 유학생은 ‘우수 공산당원’이

었다. 중국인 남성이 입국 즉시 국정원으로 가서 불법 사진을 촬영한 것은 중국공산

당이 대한민국을 우습게 보고 있다는 증거다. 2024년 독일과 영국에서 유럽의회 의원

의 보좌관이 중국 정보기관에 포섭되어 간첩 노릇을 하다가 체포되었다. 그럼 대한민

국에는 중국 간첩이 없을까? 국군정보사령부 요원이 중국 정보당국의 협박과 회유에

넘어가 7년 동안이나 돈을 받고 해외 활동 중인 우리 비밀요원 명단을 비롯한 군사기

밀을 유출하다 2024년에 적발되었다.

2024년 영국 의회 국가안보전략합동위원회(JCNSS)는 “최근 수년간 영국은 중국과

러시아, 이란, 북한과 같은 나라의 개입 시도를 겪었다”고 지적하며, 영국 총선에 중

국의 개입을 경고했다. 카나다에서는 중국 정부가 2019년, 2021년 캐나다 총선에서

개입하여 최소 11명의 친중 자유당 후보를 지원한 것이 들통이 났다. 그럼 대한민국

에서 중국공산당의 선거 개입이 없었다고 단언할 수 있을까? 중국대사는 대답하라__

우리는 중국공산당의 우마오당(五毛黨) 댓글 부대가 밤낮없이 한국의 사이버공간에

서 초한전을 벌이고 있는 것을 알고 있다. 2023년 10월 1일 항저우 아시안게임 한국

과 중국 8강전 축구경기가 열렸을 때 우리나라 포털 사이트 “다움”(DAUM)이 진행한 “클릭 응원전”에서 중국 팀이 받은 응원 클릭이 1천 983만 회(91%)로, 한국 팀이 받은 횟수(208만 회, 9%)를 압도했다. 할 거면 좀 적당히 하던지, 아니면 표나지 않게해라. 이렇게 과감하게 하는 것은 대한민국 국민을 우롱하는 것이 아닌가?

지난 2024년 12월 25일 용산 한남동 대통령 사저 앞에서는 중국인 여성 두 명이 대한민국 할

머니를 폭행하는 사건이 있었다. 중국공산당은 언제까지 이런 더러운 짓을 할 것인

가? 부끄럽지 않은가?

우리는 지금까지 중국공산당이 대한민국의 대선, 총선에 깊숙이 개입하여 선거 과

정을 왜곡시키고, 선거 결과를 조작했다는 것을 의심하게 하는 수많은 정황 증거

(circumstantial evidence)를 갖고 있다.

윤석열 대통령은 이런 선거 부정을 밝히기 위해 12월 3일 계엄령을 선포했다. 머지않아 어둠 속에서 저지른 모든 범죄가 온 천하에 다 드러나게 될 것이다. 그때도 대한민국이 리짜이밍(李在明)처럼 “쎼쎼, 쎼쎼” (謝謝, 謝謝)하면서 허리를 굽힐 거라고 생각하지 마라.

중국은 우리에게 “천년의 적”이다. 우리는 6.25 전쟁 당시 중국 인민군의 만행을

결코 잊지 않고 있다.

대한민국이 한국, 미국, 일본의 삼각 공조 체제를 무너뜨리고 북한, 중국, 러시아의

삼각 동맹에 합류할 거라는, 헛된 꿈을 꾸지 말기 바란다. 우리는 미국, 일본, 대만,

호주, 뉴질랜드, 필리핀, 인도 등과 함께 중국이 굴복할 때까지 압도적인 군사력으로
