According to the office of National Assemblyman Choi Kyoung-hwan (최경환), Democratic Peace Party , who is on the the National Assembly’s Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee [문화체육관광위원회(문체위)], the ruling and opposition parties agreed on the 14th to organize a national budget of 1.2 billion won to popularize and globalize the ‘For My Beloved March.’ (truncated)

Still quite a controversial song, Netizens: “return my tax money”

When the news was announced, conservative netizens poured out criticism toward the main opposition party, the Liberal Korea Party [because they felt betrayed by the party for agreeing].  Another response was “I don’t want to pay taxes” for such an insufficient cause.  Naver ID fkille ** denounced [the agreement], “Do not overdo it anymore.  If you use the taxes in this way, I would like to conscientiously refuse paying the taxes.”
